Early pregnancy after fertility treatment can feel uncertain. This live webinar explains EPCS – Early Pregnancy Care Service, who it is designed for, and how structured monitoring supports patients during the first trimester.

● Currently going through Fertility treatments

● Those seeking structured, clinician-led early pregnancy support

What Is EPCS?

EPCS is a clinician-led, midwife supported, early pregnancy monitoring service for patients with fertility complexity or increased early pregnancy risk.

It provides:

  • Ongoing clinical oversight
  • Individualised review of blood results and scans
  • Continuity of care through the first trimester

EPCS is not routine reassurance care. It is designed for patients who need closer monitoring and expert interpretation during early pregnancy.

Why Monitoring Matters

Early pregnancy is dynamic. Hormones and markers can change quickly, and timing matters.

Monitoring allows:

● Early identification of meaningful changes
● Individualised review, not one-off reassurance
● Responsive clinical decision-making as pregnancy progresses

EPCS: One-Year Overview

In its first year, EPCS supported a high-risk fertility population, including patients with:

● Previous miscarriage
● IVF or ICSI pregnancies
●Complex treatment histories

Many patients successfully graduated from EPCS at 12 weeks, transitioning to routine obstetric care. High-level insights from Year 1 will be shared during the webinar.
