My name is Ruth, I am the Founder of Unfolding Fertility and I understand the twists and turns of the fertility journey intimately. As a seasoned Registered Nurse, Midwife, and Medical Sonographer, I have stood beside countless individuals as they navigated the complex landscape of Reproductive Health. But my expertise extends far beyond the realm of textbooks and medical charts: it’s rooted deeply in my own personal journey.

As an IVF Mom, I know firsthand the highs and lows, the hopes and fears that accompany fertility treatments. I’ve felt the weight of uncertainty and the ache of longing, but also experienced the unparalleled joy of holding my own two little miracles in my arms. Ruth’s Level of knowledge in all areas of fertility is incredible.In my case, I had a number of miscarriages and a second trimester loss also. I underwent IVF treatment to have any embryos genetically tested to try and lessen my chances of further miscarriages.I contacted Ruth for advice and support during this prolonged period of time, which she provided remotely. Ruth gave me the confidence to advocate for myself when speaking with fertility specialists.Having no idea about fertility treatment, Ruth advised me on additional testing, which she felt was specific to my case, to be carried out in advance of my first IVF cycle (miscarriage bloods and very importantly dna fragmentation testing for my husband). These tests were not During treatment she reviewed my IVF protocol and explained it to me in detail. She considered all of my blood work and follicle tracking scans during my IVF cycles, gave me advice and explained what it all meant when my clinic were just providing instructions without explanations.Not only is Ruth brilliant medically, she is an unwavering support and kept in touch with me throughout both of my pregnancies. With the exception of my husband she is the only person who knew about my pregnancies until the 20 week scans.
